Timber Window “ReWin” – MSora wins prize for the first timber window from recycled window scantlings

MSoraProject partner MSora, a window maker in Slovenia, was honored for their timber window “ReWin” at the 10th Slovenian Innovation Forum 2015! We already wrote about the window last year.”ReWin” is fully made of recycled window scantlings. Some of them were 50 years old. It is – as far as we know- the first of its kind. We hope that the window is soon ready for the market. We will keep you updated on the window’s story.

“ReWin”s success is a great example on how ideas and results from research are directly transfered to industry. It shows how important the cooperation of both, industry and research is and how both sides can profit from each other. It is a great motivation to continue the own work. Our congratulations to MSora!

More information on the success story can be found under this link to a pdf from the Wood Wisdom website. A photograph of the window can be found on the Innovation Forum website.
